Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description: American Financial Group is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team on a remote basis in Montreal, Quebec. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field. We are looking for a hardworking and adaptable individual who possesses strong analytical skills and project management abilities.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders - Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, internal newsletters, social media posts, and website updates - Coordinate with different departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns - Assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars, and other outreach activities - Collaborate with the marketing team on designing and producing promotional materials

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with communication tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, and MailChimp - Experience in project management and working in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of financial industry trends and terminology is a plus
