Job Description:

Cigna is seeking a motivated and experienced Public Relations Associate to join our team as a remote worker in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. This part-time position is ideal for someone at the Associate level with at least 3 years of experience in PR. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping to shape and execute strategic communication plans for our organization.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and visibility. - Write and edit press releases, articles, and other communications materials. - Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media outlets and influencers. - Coordinate and support media events, press conferences, and interviews. - Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation. - Assist in crisis communication management as needed.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. - Proven experience in a PR role, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Confident and adaptable personality traits. - Proficiency in strategic planning and execution. - Experience with media monitoring tools and reporting. - Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends. - Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
