Job Description:

PCL Construction is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a PR Associate in a remote work position based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a part-time, entry-level position ideal for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in public relations.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies to promote PCL Construction and its projects - Write press releases, articles, and other materials for media distribution - Manage media relations and cultivate relationships with journalists and influencers - Monitor and report on PR metrics and KPIs - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding - Respond to media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press conferences - Assist in crisis communication strategies as needed - Stay current on industry trends and news related to construction and PR

Requirements: - Personality traits: reliable, driven - Soft skills: adaptability, people management - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or related field - Knowledge of PR tools and software is a plus - No previous experience required - Must be willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
