Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and driven Communications Specialist to join our team at HRG Group in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an entry-level position, this role is perfect for someone looking to kickstart their career in communications and marketing.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute communication strategies to increase brand awareness and engage with our target audience - Create engaging content for various channels including social media, website, press releases, and newsletters - Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms - Monitor and analyze the performance of communication campaigns and adjust strategies as needed - Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives - Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other key stakeholders - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication and marketing

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Persuasion and leadership skills - A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
