Communications Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team at State Street Corp. in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role at the Associate Level. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing communication strategies to engage with our target audience.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute communication plans to support key business objectives - Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness of campaigns - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms - Assist with media relations and crisis communication efforts - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication strategies

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to think critically and problem-solve creatively - Reliable and energetic personality traits - 2+ years of experience in a communications role - Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends - Experience with media relations and crisis communication - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and within a team
