Communications Specialist

Job Description:

KPMG is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Associate Level team member, you will have at least 4 years of experience in communications and possess a strong understanding of strategic messaging and branding. The successful candidate will be energetic and reliable, with a demonstrated ability to lead and innovate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement strategic communication plans to enhance the company's brand and reputation. 2. Write and edit communications materials such as press releases, blog posts, and social media content. 3. Manage relationships with media outlets and coordinate interviews and press conferences. 4. Monitor and analyze media coverage to track the effectiveness of communication strategies. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. 6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication efforts.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a communications role. 3. Strong leadership and innovation skills. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 5. Experience with social media management and analytics. 6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
