Job description:
Wyndham Worldwide is seeking a motivated and energetic Communications Specialist to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on a part-time basis. As an entry-level position, we are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of experience in communications or a related field.
Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies to promote the company's brand and initiatives. 2. Write and edit content for various communication channels, including email newsletters, press releases, social media posts, and website updates. 3. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions. 4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all platforms. 5. Respond to inquiries from the media, customers, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve communication strategies.
Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or related field. 2. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with social media platforms. 5. Adaptability and strong decision-making skills. 6. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
