Communications Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Communications Specialist to join our remote team at McMillan in Vancouver, British Columbia. This part-time position is ideal for an entry-level professional with at least 1 year of experience in communications, marketing, or related field. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media accounts, and assisting with public relations efforts.

Responsibilities: - Create and edit content for various platforms including website, social media, and press releases - Monitor and manage social media accounts to engage with followers and grow our online presence - Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the company's brand and initiatives - Collaborate with team members to create marketing materials and campaigns - Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities to inform communication strategies - Track and analyze the performance of communication efforts to make data-driven decisions

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Confidence in presenting ideas and communicating with internal and external stakeholders - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong decision-making abilities
