Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team at the BC Public Service in Montreal, Quebec. As an Associate-level writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for various platforms and audiences. This is a part-time position requiring at least 4 years of experience in writing and content creation.
Responsibilities: - Research, write, and edit content for a variety of communication channels, including websites, social media, newsletters, and press releases - Collaborate with team members to develop content strategies and messaging - Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather information for articles and stories - Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and aligns with brand voice and guidelines - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in content creation
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in content writing or a related field - Proficient in Microsoft Office and content management systems - Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills - Resilient and motivated with a strong work ethic - Excellent problem-solving and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
