Content Writer

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Content Writer to join our team at Home Depot in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our online platforms, including our website, blog, and social media channels. You will work closely with our marketing and communications teams to develop content that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.

Responsibilities: - Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant - Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for various digital channels - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies that support business objectives - Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency - Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search performance - Track and analyze content performance metrics to inform future strategies - Stay up-to-date on emerging content trends and technologies - Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure all content is consistent with the Home Depot brand voice

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in content writing or a related field - Proven ability to write high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms - Strong research and analytical skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Reliable and able to meet deadlines consistently - Experience with SEO best practices is a plus
