Job Description:

Valero Energy is seeking a part-time Content Writer to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia. As an Associate Level Content Writer at Valero Energy, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for various platforms including our website, social media channels, and marketing materials.

Responsibilities: - Develop high-quality content that is aligned with Valero Energy's brand voice and messaging - Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date - Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation - Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency - Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and reach - Manage content calendar and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content - Stay up-to-date on emerging content trends and technologies to continuously improve content strategy

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in content writing or related field - Strong writing and editing skills with a keen attention to detail - Proven track record of creating compelling and engaging content - Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Emotional intelligence and the ability to understand and connect with audience needs - Reliable and able to work effectively in a remote setting
