Job description:

Desjardins Group is seeking a passionate and dedicated PR Associate to join our team in Montreal, Quebec. This part-time position at the Associate level requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a creative mindset to help generate innovative PR campaigns.

Responsibilities: - Create and implement PR strategies to promote Desjardins Group and its initiatives - Develop press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials - Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers - Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management - Assist in organizing and managing events, press conferences, and interviews - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field - Proven experience in a PR role, preferably in the financial services industry - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French - Strong time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Creative thinker with a knack for storytelling and generating engaging content - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software tools - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
