Job Description:
St. Jude Medical is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. As an Associate Level PR professional, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance the company's reputation and brand awareness.
Responsibilities: - Assist in planning and executing PR campaigns to promote St. Jude Medical products and services - Conduct research to identify media opportunities and develop media lists - Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials - Monitor and analyze media coverage and report on PR KPIs - Assist in organizing and attending events, press conferences, and trade shows - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR initiatives align with overall marketing and business goals - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to provide strategic PR recommendations
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in PR or related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong research and strategic planning abilities - Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office suite and PR software tools - Knowledge of the healthcare industry is a plus
