Job Description:

American Financial Group is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, CA. The PR Associate will be responsible for supporting the public relations team in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote the company's brand and reputation.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other PR materials - Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics - Support social media channels and engage with followers - Assist in planning and executing events and press conferences - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Conduct research on industry trends and competitors - Assist in crisis communication and reputation management efforts

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - 1 year of experience in PR or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Hardworking and reliable personality traits - Teamwork and collaboration skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms
