Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:

Arthur J. Gallagher is seeking a passionate and confident Remote PR Associate to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. This part-time position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field at the associate level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing public relations strategies and campaigns for our clients, working closely with senior team members to develop and execute communications plans, and cultivating relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement public relations strategies and campaigns for clients - Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and coordinate interviews and media opportunities - Monitor and analyze media coverage, social media trends, and competitor activity - Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers - Assist with event planning and coordination for client events and press conferences - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communications channels - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations and media relations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Experience with media monitoring and analytics tools preferred
