Job Description:

Arrow Electronics is seeking a passionate and independent PR Associate to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for someone with at least 1 year of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns - Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials - Pitch stories to media outlets and secure coverage - Monitor media coverage and compile reports - Maintain relationships with media contacts - Coordinate interviews and media appearances for company executives - Assist in organizing events and press conferences - Contribute to social media and digital marketing efforts

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, journalism, or related field - Strong decision-making skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Understanding of social media platforms - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software - Vision insurance and visa sponsorship available
