Job Description:

Textron is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field. As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for managing public relations campaigns, building relationships with media outlets, and executing PR strategies to enhance Textron's brand image.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to promote Textron's products and services - Write press releases, pitches, and other PR materials - Build and maintain relationships with media contacts - Coordinate interviews and media appearances for Textron executives - Monitor media coverage and track PR performance - Assist in organizing promotional events and press conferences - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR goals align with overall business objectives - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities - Assist in crisis communication efforts when necessary

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or a similar role - Excellent communication and writing skills - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships - Resilient and able to handle high-pressure situations - Independent and able to work autonomously - Creativity and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PR software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
