Social Media Manager - Remote Work

Job Description:

National Oilwell Varco is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to join our team in a remote capacity based in Vancouver, British Columbia, CA. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in social media management and possess a high level of energy and passion for the role.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. 2. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms. 3. Monitor and respond to social media comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 4. Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize results. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing and business goals. 6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing. 7. Maintain a consistent brand voice and image across all social media channels.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in social media management. 3. Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns. 4. Strong persuasion skills to effectively engage and grow the social media audience. 5. High emotional intelligence to handle customer interactions with empathy and professionalism. 6. Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms. 7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
