Responsibilities

As a School Bus Attendant, you’ll help transport students living with disabilities to and from school safely and with the utmost care. You’ll be the friendly and familiar face that marks the beginning and end of each child’s school day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist students on and off the school bus and support Driver with securements


• Complete incident reports, and daily communication with guardians 


• Assist the Driver in maintaining safety procedures, including emergency evacuations when required


• Monitor student behavior during transport to ensure a calm, supportive, and safe environment


• Build trust rapport with both students and guardians
  

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or individuals living with disabilities 


• Available Monday to Friday both AM and PM shifts 


• Clean criminal record check and drug test


• Proficient in English, both written and verbal


• Bonus: valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license
