As Ambassador, you will be responsible for greeting, informing, assisting, directing and supervising the general public during events. You will also encourage public participation and promote Radio-Canada, and its platform Mauril.
Mauril's mission is to enable residents of Canada to better understand each other through a French and English learning experience focused on cultural discovery and rooted in everyday life.

Please note that this is a casual role (temporary, on call).
Responsibilities:
Greet, direct, inform and assist program participants and, occasionally, special guests and VIPs.
Engage with the public to promote our brands and products.
Supervise and facilitate guided tours of Maison de Radio-Canada in Montreal, miscellaneous activities (day camps, field activations, information booths, etc.), and workshops for elementary and high school groups per the department’s programming.
Work with Security to ensure that safety measures are followed.
Help set up equipment needed to put on events and activities.
Prepare the necessary post-event/activity reports so that managers can follow up accordingly.
Familiarize other people with their job by explaining your own duties.
What you bring:
Qualifications:
University or community college graduation in a relevant field (facilitation, cultural mediation, marketing communications, sales, theatre, film studies or any other specialization related to the duties described above)
One (1) or more years’ experience performing similar duties
Key competencies:
Facilitation experience (student workshops, guided tours of our facilities, activations in the field and at Radio-Canada, discussions and interaction with the public, etc.)
Experience as a day camp counsellor and/or DAFA certification an asset
Comfort working with elementary and high school students (aged 9-16) as well as with the general public
Ability to be proactive and keep participants engaged during workshops, events and activities (in other words, encourage everyone to take part and listen to what they have to say so that we can provide inclusive, positive experiences)
Ability to communicate with the public and make information accessible and understandable to audiences of all ages
Ability to be resourceful and work independently
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
Familiarity and proficiency with cultural mediation an asset
Excellent spoken and written English
Excellent spoken third language, an asset
Ability to travel in Canada
