Note: the start date for this position will be beginning of September 2025 with the end date of January 1, 2026.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests in a variety of settings, including plated and buffet banquets for breakfasts/lunch/dinner, working lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions, formal evening events/galas/weddings, and off-site catering events
• Setting up, and tearing down banquet functions/conference rooms
• Lifting and moving Banquets equipment, including chairs, tables, dance floor, etc.
• Assistance with bartending duties
• Follow all policies, procedures and service standards, including health & safety and food handling procedures
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. The schedule for this position will primarily be AM shifts.

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous customer service experience is an asset
• Must have Alberta ProServe certification
• Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items (chairs, tables, etc.), up to 50 lbs
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Proven teamwork mindset is essential with the ability to communicate effectively at all times
• Strong focus on health & safety with a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
