Bus Supervision Aide (Part-Time)

Location: Vancouver–Richmond Bus Route
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Weekday mornings and/or afternoons, aligned with school calendar

Are you a dependable, safety-conscious individual who enjoys working with children? We’re looking for a Bus Supervision Aide to help provide a safe and supportive environment for students traveling between Vancouver and Richmond.  This part-time role is ideal for someone seeking consistent weekday work in the early mornings and/or afternoons, with a meaningful impact on student well-being.

About the Role

As a Bus Supervision Aide, you will:

• Supervise and support students during school bus transportation.


• Assist with safe boarding and exiting of the bus.


• Monitor student behavior and help ensure a respectful, orderly ride.


• Enforce safety rules and provide a calm, responsible adult presence.


• Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, and families.

Work Schedule

• Monday–Friday (Regular School Days):
  
  
  
  • Morning Shift: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
  
  
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:15 PM – 4:30 PM
  
  
  
  


• Early Dismissal Fridays:
  
  
  
  • Afternoon Shift: 2:15 PM – 3:30 PM
  
  
  
  


• Applicants may be considered for morning-only, afternoon-only, or both shifts, based on availability.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Responsible, reliable, and punctual.


• Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Physical ability to assist children and respond in case of emergencies.


• Experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus.


• CPR/First Aid training is an asset.

Location

• School bus runs between Vancouver and Richmond (and vice versa).


• Pick-up and drop-off assistance may occur at multiple locations along the route.
