Casual Frontline Terminal Operations

Minimum Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

• Ability to work individually and in a team atmosphere

• Experience and knowledge in operating process piping, pumping systems, tankage automation and related terminal equipment is an asset, training will be provided

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an awareness of his/her own safety and that of others

• Reports unsafe conditions to Terminal Operator and/or Supervisor and mitigates immediate risk if able to do so

• Participate in safety programs

• Receiving product via rail and truck using established procedures

• Performs product quality testing as per prescribed methods

• Inspections of terminal operating and safety equipment and rail rack operation

• Records, communicates, and/or completes documentation as required for job assignment (i.e. lab tests, release and/order in rail cars, BOL’s, etc.)

• Assist the Terminal Operator with repairs/maintenance to terminal equipment as required

Location and other Key Details:

• You will work out of our Terrace terminal office located at 4420 Keith Avenue Terrace, British Columbia

• This position is safety sensitive

• You will be required to perform all essential physical aspects and responsibilities of the role to capably handle the operation of terminal equipment and maintenance in an all-weather outdoor environment while wearing company provided personal protective equipment

Salary and Compensation Details:

• This is a union represented position under Teamster 213

• This is a casual position, $43.44 / hour, averaging 15 hours per week, maximum 20 hours a week
