Our Training Site at our Head Office in Richmond, BC currently has an opportunity for:

Central Trainer

Responsibilities for this role include:

Performing established Training Program, involving Cash/Terminal Training for new hire employees.

Providing formal feedback for students and communicating the same with stores.

Performing Management Terminal Training, POS training, and training in any other applications as required.

Providing input into the upgrading of training program contents as necessary

Providing input into the creation and maintenance of store procedure manuals

Attending Central Trainers Meetings

Attending additional training as necessary

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Comfortable presenting to small to medium-sized groups (typically 10-12 people)

Ability to relate to all levels of personnel within the Company (stores and Head Office)

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent interpersonal skills

Professional conduct and attitude

Self-confidence and enthusiasm

Patience for students having varying learning methods

Good leadership and presentation skills

Excellent organizational skills

PREREQUISITES:

Thorough knowledge of store operational procedures

Well versed in using Microsoft applications like Excel and Outlook

Thorough knowledge of the P.O.S. system procedures

Minimum 12 months tenure with the Company

The successful candidate should have a holistic understanding of the store (Eg. Service Specialist or SPC)

Available to work a flexible schedule, Monday to Sunday

Hours will vary depending on operational needs. The successful applicant will be primarily employed at the store, the role of a Central trainer would serve as a back-up position as per training requirements.
