This position is exclusively for the 2025 Regina Refugee Hiring Event. To be eligible to apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Arrived in Canada as a refugee (government or private sponsorship), applied for asylum after arriving in Canada (refugee claimant/asylum seeker), or were forcibly displaced. This includes individuals from countries such as Ukraine, Afghanistan, Iran, and others.
- Currently reside in Saskatchewan.
- Should be able to attend the event in-person in Regina on September 24.
- Eligible to work in Canada (you must have a valid work permit, permanent residency, or citizenship).
- 18 years of age or older.

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Staff to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment by following established cleaning procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in commercial spaces.
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Remove garbage and recyclables in a timely manner.
- Restock and replenish cleaning and washroom supplies.
- Sanitize surfaces to meet health and safety standards.
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming tasks effectively
- Capable of removing garbage and recyclables in a timely manner
- Able to restock and replenish cleaning and washroom supplies as required
- Knowledge of sanitizing surfaces to meet health and safety standards
- Familiarity with and commitment to following workplace safety guidelines and procedures
- Capacity to work independently or collaboratively within a team to meet deadlines
- WHMIS certification is considered an asset
