Custodial Services Worker (Part-Time)

Job Location: Red Deer, AB

Temporary Contract | September 11 to October 4

Shift Hours: 7:00pm – 6:00am (10 hour shift)

Days of Work: Saturday & Sunday (weekend only)

Rate of Pay: $15.00-24.00 depending on experience

Our client is seeking reliable and hardworking Custodial Services Workers to support a temporary project. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and organized environments and are comfortable performing physically demanding work.

As a Custodial Services Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring trailers and workspaces are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while delivering quality results.

Successful candidates will be required to attend training a few days prior to the project start date

Key Responsibilities

·       Clean and sanitize lunch trailers, wash cars, and office trailers

·       Sweep and wash floors to maintain cleanliness standards

·       Transport water between trailers for cleaning purposes

·       Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols

·       Handle cleaning products and chemicals safely and responsibly

·       Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with clients, guests, and coworkers

·       Ensure work areas are safe, clean, and organized at all times

·       Ability to perform physically demanding work

·       Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull more than 50 lbs.

·       Ability to follow safety procedures and precautions, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals

·       Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently

·       Strong work ethic and attention to detail

·       Positive attitude and customer-service-focused approach

Preferred

·       Previous custodial, janitorial, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping experience

·       Experience performing similar cleaning duties in trailers, camps, worksites, or industrial environments

Physical Requirements

·       Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials exceeding 50 lbs.

·       Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement

·       Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Background Screening Requirement

·       All candidates must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check in accordance with local and national legislation.
