Material Handler - Forklift / Reach Truck Operator

Certified Counterbalance/Reach Forklift OperatorWe are currently hiring for Forklift Operators that are experienced with a Counterbalance, Reach truck and Order Picker. The ideal candidate is a reliable, experienced Forklift Operator that is excited to learn and grow with our client's company. We are looking for someone who is interested in full-time hours and can be counted on as our client's busy season is fast-approaching! JOB DESCRIPTION
Your day-to-day duties will involve order picking, packing, receiving, and shipping duties. This position is responsible for supporting the shipment of goods produced, received and the supplies used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to the customer. Our client’s warehouse is an extremely busy environment, and as such, attention to detail and precision on the job are a must.QUALIFICATIONS

You must be in good physical condition and be able to consistently lift 50 – 70 LBS of product that cannot be moved via forklift.

2 years of experience on a forklift is an absolute must.

Third party active forklift certification is required

Own form of transportation would be an asset.

Willing to complete a background check.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Must be open to cross training for different positions within the warehouse.

Clear and legible handwriting for paperwork purposes.

Operate counterbalance and reach forklift truck on a regular basis.

Order picker experience is an asset.

Identify and report any damages of shipments.

Daily shipping / receiving of products.

COMPENSATION: $18.00 - 20.00 per hour
