Job Description - Medical & Dental Office Administrator (MDOA) Instructor (Surrey BC)




Medical & Dental Office (MDA) Instructor
(Surrey, BC)

Discovery Community College are looking for the right individual to instruct in our Medical and Dental Program in our Surrey campus using the curriculum provided by the College.  Instructors should be caring and supportive with excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
 
This position will be for 'on-site' evening and weekend

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have/be: 

Certificate/diploma/degree or professional qualification related to Medical Office
Administration and Dental
  • 24 months of related occupational experience
OR
  • 10 years of related occupational experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Medical Terminology

Other skills and attributes of benefit would include, but are not limited to:
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Adult education experience an asset
  • Ability to create an atmosphere of support and confidence for our students
