Overnight Building Patrol (Part-Time)

We are seeking a reliable and professional Overnight Building Patrol to provide coverage across three residential properties located within close proximity in downtown Montreal. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, monitoring building activity during overnight hours, and responding appropriately to incidents or emergencies.

This position is well-suited for individuals with prior safety or monitoring experience who are comfortable working independently overnight and moving between nearby sites.

Responsibilities:

• Control building access and monitor entry points to ensure resident safety.


• Monitor building access points, common areas, and exterior grounds.


• Act as a visible presence to deter unauthorized access or activity.


• Conduct regular patrols and building checks across all assigned properties.


• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or disturbances.


• Assist with after-hours emergencies, including fire alarms, water leaks, or safety concerns.


• Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or building issues immediately.


• Document incidents, patrols, and observations in daily security logs.


• Communicate clearly with property management and emergency services when required.


• Ensure compliance with overnight security and safety protocols.


• Maintain a professional and calm demeanor when interacting with residents or visitors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Previous experience in security, concierge, or property operations preferred.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.


• Good written and verbal communication skills.


• Strong problem-solving and sound judgement.


• Physical ability to perform walking patrols and respond to on-site situations.


• Fluent in English and French.

Schedule and Working Conditions:

• Mondays and Tuesdays overnight: 8:00PM to 8:00AM.


• Overnight work with minimal supervision.


• Combination of walking patrols and stationary monitoring.
