Note: These are part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) per academic term.
Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach part-time in the Truck and Coach apprenticeship program and Motive Power Technician program in the School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation.
Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager of School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the programs and developing an effective learning environment for students.

What You'll Bring
Certificate of Qualification – 310T Truck and Coach Technician required
Minimum 5 years of recent practical work experience
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are
Experience in formal teaching positions (e.g. Clinical instructors, teaching assistants, classroom leadership, etc.) an asset
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
Educational Credentials
