Location: 4 Campbell Drive, Uxbridge, ON
Schedule: Part Time — Fri, Sat, Sun (2200–1000)
Pay Rate: $19.19/hour
Employment Type: Part Time
Averaging Agreement: Overtime applies after 88 hours

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive security patrols across hospital grounds
• Respond quickly and professionally to incidents and coded emergencies
• Engage with patients, staff, and visitors using excellent customer service
• Stand and walk for long periods; maintain physical readiness
• Write accurate and detailed reports to support communication and incident tracking
• Investigate routine incidents and support hospital operational safety
• Uphold all site policies, Post Orders, and hospital safety protocols

Must Have Criteria

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C (WSIB-approved vendor)
• COVID-19: Two vaccine doses
• Immunization records for MMRV (Mumps, Measles, Rubella, Varicella) and two-step TB test
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Minimum 6 months experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
• Comfortable maintaining a clean-shaven face (for N95 fit testing)
• Vulnerable Sector Check (completed upon hire)
• Able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and MOAB
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
