Job Title: Two opportunities available - Personal Support Worker Instructor & Personal Support Worker Clinical Supervisor

Location: On-site, Moncton Campus, 1070 St George Blvd, Moncton, New Brunswick

Hours:  Part-time, Monday to Friday - 20 hours a week

Start Date: Immediate

End Date: July 28, 2025

Primary Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide quality delivery of assigned courses within the Personal Support Worker program, utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and as required, grading class tests, assignments, and exams.

• Strong English skills; reading, writing and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

• Positive demeanor and encouraging personality
• Demonstrates sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socio- economic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability and ethnic backgrounds of the students
• Must be able to convey meaning using visual, verbal, and tactile means
• Strong English skills; reading, writing and verbal

What you bring to the position:

• For the Instructor Role- Must be a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with New Brunswick College of Nursing. 
• For the Clinical Supervisor Role- Must hold a PSW NACC Diploma.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related subject plus 12 months of relevant experience;
• A diploma from NBCC, CCNB, or an equivalent institution plus 24 months of relevant experience; or
• A Bachelor of Education or valid NB teacher’s certificate plus 24 months of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and use of the Internet.
• Understanding of Adult Learning Principles an asset
