Public Address Announcer, Belleville Senators

Job Summary

The Public Address Announcer plays a key role in delivering an exciting and engaging atmosphere for Belleville Senators fans during home games. This position is responsible for informing and entertaining patrons by announcing starting lineups, goals, penalties, and other in-game events, as well as delivering promotional and sponsorship reads according to the provided game scripts. A confident, energetic voice and strong attention detail are essential for success in this role.

Job Duties

• Use the public address system to announce in game events such as starting lineups, goals, penalties and other related updates with accuracy and enthusiasm.
  


• Record game statistics including goals and penalties as reported by the off-ice officiating crew.
  


• Maintain a high-energy, engaging presence that enhances the fan experience throughout the game.
  


• Be familiar with all in-game promotions, scripts and activations to ensure seamless timing in coordination with the wider game presentation team.
  


• Attend all Belleville Senators homes games as scheduled, as well as required rehearsals and pregame production meetings.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and confident speaking voice.
  


• Strong vocal presence with the ability to engage and entertain large crowds.
  


• Able to project voice and maintain high energy throughout the game.
  


• Proven ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, live-event environment.
  


• Strong passion for hockey, with a solid understanding of the rules and the American Hockey League.

Job Conditions
This position required regular evening and weekend work, as dictated by the Belleville Senators home game schedule for the season.
