Reporting to the Chief of Security, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's personnel and property at our Techo-Bloc facilities in Chambly, alongside a team of dynamic and motivated agents. Our ideal candidate is discreet and courteous and will act as a role model and reference in the application of company policies.

• Permanent part-time position; 16 hours per week
• Saturday and Sunday from midnight to 8 AM 

Here is an overview of your tasks:

• Play a proactive role in identifying, tracking and reporting potential security risks;
• Conduct exterior and interior facility patrols;
• Monitor intrusion and fire alarms;
• Respond to emergencies;
• If necessary, communicate with emergency services and collaborate with first responders;
• Ensure that occupational health and safety policies and procedures are followed to promote a prevention culture;
• Report all potentially hazardous situations to the Chief of Safety;
• Resolve conflict situations in collaboration with managers;
• When required, control the arrival and departure of visitors, suppliers and other persons;
• Write event reports to document incidents and record evidence;
• Conduct surveillance of the premises using security cameras;
• Communicate any suspicious behavior or concerns to the Chief of Security;
• Occasionally, you may be required to work at Techo-Bloc’s facility located in St-Hubert located a few minutes from Chambly; 
• Perform any other related tasks. 

• Valid BSP license;
• Minimum 6 months of security experience;
• Valid First Aid certification in the workplace;
• Valid driver's license - no more than 3 demerit points;
• Excellent analytical and judgmental skills;
• Crisis management and problem solving skills;
• Good observation skills and self-control;
• Team player;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Bilingualism (an asset) - Due to frequent communication with clients in Quebec, Ontario and the United States.
