Security Guard - Richmond - Weekends

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guards to work weekends at our City of Richmond site. 

Position days and hours: Saturday and Sunday 4pm till midnight OR midnight to 8am 

Payrate: $24.08/hr

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public.
• Meet and greet high profile visitors, providing a superior level of service.
• Keep site clean, tidy and a safe environment for all.
• Interior and exterior patrols.
• Access Control and visitor verification.      
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols. 
• CCTV monitoring. 
• Checkpoint Tours. 

• Valid BC Security Licence

• Able to de-escalate any situations as needed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Strong multi-tasking, prioritizing, and organizational skills
• Physically able to perform assigned duties, including the ability to conduct extensive foot patrols
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
