In A Nutshell:

The Sun Parlor Home for Senior Citizens located in Leamington is recruiting for Temporary Part Time- Housekeeping Aides. Under the direction of the Manager of Building Services, the Housekeeping Aide provides housekeeping services to the residents to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Day In The Life:

• Responsible for assisting in maintaining and cleaning all areas of the Home including but not limited to resident rooms, washrooms, common and staff areas.

• Carbolize resident room furnishings upon admission, discharge or transfer.

• Washes interior windows and walls.

• Cares for plants, takes and returns clothing for marking in the laundry.

• Attend meetings and in-service lectures.

• Follows appropriate procedures for fire safety and disaster plans.

• Other job-related duties as assigned by management.

What We Are Looking For:

• Secondary School Diploma

• Previous Housekeeping experience

• Must be fluent in oral and written English

• Must be capable of performing physically demanding job tasks.

• Ability to work all shifts including every other weekend and midnight shifts.

What We Are Offering

• $27.25 to $29.38 per hour
