Term, September 3, 2024 toJune 27, 2025 HOWE SOUND SECONDARY SCHOOL The successful candidatemust: · possess a Diploma in Education – Teacher Librarianship;· have completed specific course work in inquiry-based learning,collaborate planning and teaching, information literacy, curriculum design andimplementation, multi-media resources, and learning technologies;· have successful experience as a Teacher Librarian or Learning CommonsTeacher;· be prepared to assume a literacy leadership role in collectiondevelopment and management, promoting reading and supporting a school’sliteracy strategies;· have training/experience in the use of Quality Assessment practices;and,· have experience in differentiating and providing inclusive learningopportunities that reflect the unique needs of students;· be familiar with the BC Student Performance Standards and new BCCurriculum and Competencies; and,· have experience working in multi-age/grade groupings.
