Job Description - Veteran and First Responder Job Opportunities - Security


Commissionaires BC is proud to support and provide employment opportunities to Canadian and Allied Armed Forces and RCMP veterans as well as first responders looking to transition into a civilian career in security. We recognize your dedication, discipline, and service—and we’re committed to helping you find a role where your experience is respected and valued.

Location: Various Sites Across British Columbia
Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Casual Opportunities Available

What We Offer Veterans:
  • Sponsorship for your Basic Security Training (BST) course
  • Coverage of your initial Security Licence fees for a one year licence
  • Flexible scheduling
  • A welcoming and veteran-friendly team culture
  • Opportunities to work at federal and military locations, as well as commercial sites across the Lower Mainland and wider BC
Types of Roles Include:
  • Access Control & Gatehouse Security
  • Mobile Patrol
  • Site Supervisor Positions
  • Client-Facing Concierge Security
  • Federal Government Site Security
