Job Summary

The Worship + Tech Assistant provides administrative and tech support to the team to ensure that Sunday services, youth tech and leadership initiatives run smoothly with excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supports with scheduling, registration, communication requests, facilities bookings 


• Sunday sermon slides


• Coordinates Sunday volunteers, Sunday hosts, communion elements and servers, etc.


• Maintain volunteer records, databases, etc. 


• Oversees details of Sunday services: chord charts, slides, ad-loop, ProPresenter, creative details


• Oversees details of tech for youth: including recruitment, scheduling, training and development of youth tech volunteers (Depending on hours)


• Schedules and oversees communion prep, team, servers, clean-up


• Operates and trains ProPresenter volunteers


• Plans and facilitates the details of leadership lunches, worship + team training and other group events


• Assists with leadership training, meetings and follow-up and provides on-site support for events


• Manages Subscriptions and documenting for CCLI


• Create tech systems and support tech administrative needs and volunteers


• Attends Staff Meetings, Worship Team Service Planning Meetings and Team + Leadership Lunches


• Willing to learn tech systems including lighting, audio broadcast, FOH mixing, video switching

Qualifications

• Attends, or is willing and able to regularly attend Peace Portal


• A teachable team player with a desire to support and strengthen the team


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Knowledge and ability to administrate Planning Center, ProPresenter, Asana, SharePoint


• Experience and/ or interest in learning tech production systems including lighting, video and audio (including the Avantis mixing console and Dante AVoIP).


• Dependable and responsible self-starter, able to work with deadlines


• Experience with administrative support and working with teams and volunteers


• Successful criminal record background check, and vulnerable sector check and reference
