Business Development Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Business Development Associate to join our team at NextEra Energy in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in business development or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Identify potential business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them - Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders - Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitors - Assist in the creation of business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are on track and objectives are met - Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote the company and build a professional network - Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities to senior management

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field - Strong planning and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software - Knowledge of renewable energy industry is a plus
