**KeyResponsibilities**:
**Leadership**: - Effectively lead theAmericas team of 14 people in three countries, ensuring fullmanagement of team members and achievement of agreed businesstargetsConfidential
- Managing interactions with the local TaxOperations team and support them in their delivery ofrequirements
- Inspiring the team and shaping the tax team culture- Lead by example to embed the group tax vision andbehavioursConfidential
- Ensure the tax team fully understands thestrategy of Group Tax and how they contribute towards achieving itthrough their respective team and roleConfidential
- Lead andmanage the identification of risks and opportunities in the region andoversee the development of Confidentialand actions as required tomanage to deliver/ protect value for the Group in line with thegroup-s Tax Operating ModelConfidential
- Lead the identification,development and deployment ofregional and group
- Wide projects andinitiatives
**Business Partnering**: - Represent LatinAmerica in consultations with governments, key industry and otherlobbying groups
- Lead development and management of relationshipswith key personnel within the business units and ensure theyunderstand the strategy, tax risk framework and vision of grouptax
- Develop and enhance relationships with tax authorities
-Lead the creation of sustainable value through professional advice andplanning in accordance with the group-s strategy and businessprinciplesConfidential
- Lead and manage the provision of taxadvice on major transactions, including acquisitions anddisposalsConfidential
- Raise awareness of tax issues and leadingthe effective communication of these issues tomanagementConfidential
- Monitor external developments anddetermine and lead appropriate actionConfidential

**Compliance and tax controversy**: -Provide strategic oversight and leadership for significant tax audits,disputes and tax litigations within the region
- Be accountable tothe local Business Units for tax compliance and taxreporting

- Set the health, safety and environmentalexpectations for your team and monitor behaviour so that it meets therequired standards
- Participate in relevant safety audits,inspections and observations, and address issues as part ofdemonstrating safety leadership
