Business Sweden is looking for a passionate accounting professional /office manager that likes to work with innovative and fast-growingcompanies in projects as well as taking the lead regardingadministrative tasks of the office. You will have the possibility towork in an international environment with colleagues located in morethan 40 countries. In Chile we are a fun and dynamic team.
BusinessSweden is located in 40+ countries and has 550+ employees all over theworld. Our office in Chile is located in Las Condes. We provideconsultancy services and administrative support to Swedish companiesoperating in Chile.
What will you do?
You will report to thecountry manager delivering daily administrative tasks:
Preparepayments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, initiatingdisbursements.
Prepare invoicing to customers, accruing revenue,recording customer payments.
Support our clients with taxprocedures and tax analysis (Tax and VAT Law) in collaboration withaccounting firm and lawyers.
Answer accounting and financialquestions from clients by researching and interpretingdata.
Perform payroll tasks such as revision of expense reportsfrom employees, vacation days.
Revise accounting books delivered byexternal accounting bureau.
Prepare monthly reports (excel andpower point) that translate the financials into relevant KPIs for bothinternal and external use. You will also maintain a closedialogue with the Accounting and Lawyer firm. We expect that you areon top of updates from Chilean authorities such as Tax Authority (SII)and Social Security Authority (Previred).
You will also beresponsiblefor administrative routines of the office with practicaltasks related to the weekly maintenance of the office, such ascommunication with office suppliers, purchase of office supplies,etc.
Technical Skills
Degree in accounting OR similarfield
At least 2 years of relevant work experience as accountant orsimilar role
Fluency in English and Spanish, both in writing andspeaking
Payroll processing
Proficiency in use of MicrosoftOffice (Excel, Word and Powerpoint)
Knowledge in use of accountingsystems such as Nuvox or similar Soft Skills
Ability toprioritize efficiently and strong accountability for meetingdeadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret andanalyze data.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs andwelcome new challenges.
Collaborative, social and team-workingskills are highly valued.
Respectful of organizational policies andgoverned based on ethical and honest conduct.
Resilient, withstrong work capacity and proven ability to adapt, must be a "resultsdriven" individual. Experience of following is anadvantage
Knowledge in Chilean tax system.
Experience fromPayroll and HR-tasks.
Knowledge of benefitsadministration.
Knowledge of IFRSprinciples. **Benefits**:
