While the main sector focus for this role is agriculture/agribusiness, you will be involved in assisting companies in other sectors to expand into Chile. You will work with your customers to help develop and execute their business growth plan by using your keen business acumen and agility to leverage your existing commercial relationships to proactively support our customers already in or looking to enter market, with the aim of converting opportunities into value.

You will also provide insight on the realities of the market through expert market research and analysis, identifying and providing introductions to strategic relationships and potential in-market partners, helping develop new channels to market and identifying and building potential growth opportunities. You will also play a key role in evaluating the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for our customers in comparison to their competitors, and then assist them in shaping and reshaping their strategies and business models to help them succeed.

There will also be many opportunities to work as part of our wider Latin America (LATAM) team, as you will be involved in projects that will see you work across and with different regional offices.

An existing network (ideally in agribusiness) and talent for identifying channel and partnership opportunities, including having a deep understanding of the tech-ecosystem and tech innovation processes is necessary, along with experience in building go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will also have superior communication, business consulting and relationships skills and feel at ease in building relationships across multiple levels of an organisation, while being a great team player. Fluency in both English and Spanish, ideally with a tertiary business qualification and it would be advantageous if you have experience in project management.

Experience in selling agribusiness solutions is advantageous – however, we would love to hear from those who have international consulting or business development experience in either agriculture or are eager to expand and grow their experience within this unique sector.
