To deliver on its long-term vision, Flix will invest in both its train and bus services to continue the strong growth journey. The next milestone of FlixBus’ global expansion will be the launch of operations in Chile in 2023. After Brazil, Chile will be the second FlixBus market in South America and the world’s 41st country with green long-distance buses on the roads. 

For the upcoming years, we expect further growth which is why we want to expand our strong, dynamic and ambitious international teams. To support our ambitious growth, we are now looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager. This position will be based in Santiago and starts as soon as possible.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

You will take care of building a pipeline of partners for our operations in Chile, negotiating commercial terms to ensure having a solid supply of local partners

You will take care of the existing partners and be responsible for generating new business opportunities

You will take ownership of the whole sales process and sales responsibility

You will prepare forecasts and reports for internal stakeholders and the management

You will be a credible advisor in facing any issues and problems by external partners and deal with complaints to maintain trust

You will be responsible of P&L results of assigned partner

You coordinate projects, making sure the interactions between different departments are fluid and results are delivered in a timely manner

You own and use your analytical skills to find your way through complex datasets and recognize opportunities to grow and optimize the business relationship

Your support will be required in developing special projects for both local and international teams in the definition of the new routes, pricing, and growth opportunities

You implement a route network based on quantitative analysis such as competitor analysis and benchmark

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

You have an excellent Bachelor/Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related fields of study

You ideally have 3-5 years of experience in sales, and business development, preferably acquired in a multinational environment, with a proven track record of successful personal and occupational projects with high performance and sales responsibility

You have excellent analytical skills, with a high level of Excel proficiency

You have strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills

You bring an economic understanding: f.i. ability to read and understand a P&L

You have a problem-solving attitude and are independent, reliable, and a responsible working style

You are an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, in both Spanish and English
