Join our team and help us make unforgettable experiences for our clients. We are seeking a creative and driven Marketing Specialist to join our team at Venture Patagonia. As the Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our tourism products and services, conducting market research, creating and executing marketing campaigns, and managing our brand identity. You will play a critical role in promoting our brand and driving revenue growth.

Job functions

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our tourism products and services for growth in our target market
• Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, such as social media, email marketing, and digital advertising to reach target audience
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as travel agents, tour operators, and industry associations
• Coordinate with the sales team to ensure that marketing initiatives align with sales goals and objectives
• Manage the company's brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing materials
• Analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to maintain a competitive edge
• Create compelling content, including blog posts, social media posts, and video content, to engage our audience and drive conversions
• Analyze marketing performance data and adjust strategies as needed to optimize ROI
• Work alongside the owner of Venture on a new project to sell Antarctica tours through social media as well as in person last minute sales. 

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the tourism industry
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles, including market research, campaign development, and data analysis
• Knowledge of our target market in North America
• Experience in managing marketing campaigns across multiple channels
• Experience working with CRM technology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Experience in photography and videography is a plus

Desirable skills

• Creative ability to come up with new marketing ideas, present them to the owner and implement them. 
• Advanced, fluent English written and verbal language. Our clients are 100% English speakers.
