About the Position

We are seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Legal Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a corporate law background with experience in US/Canadian law and a strong command of English. This individual will play a critical role in providing comprehensive legal support, ensuring compliance, and aiding in the strategic direction of our clients' blockchain and fintech initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Legal Consultation & Compliance:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate law matters, specifically in the US and Canadian jurisdictions.

• Ensure company compliance with all relevant regulations in blockchain and fintech.

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

2. Corporate Governance & Transactions:

• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.

• Provide guidance on corporate governance best practices.

3. Remote Collaboration:

• Collaborate with a diverse and global team of experts.

• Support clients and internal teams via remote communication channels.

4. Proactive Legal Research:

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on emerging trends and compliance issues.

Qualifications

1. Education & Experience:

• 2-5 years of legal experience in corporate law.

• Strong understanding of US and Canadian corporate law and regulations.

2. Skills & Competencies:

• Strong English communication skills with little to no accent.

• Experience working remotely and collaborating with international teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
