Position: Construction Project Engineer Working Hours: M-F 9am-5pm PST Salary: 1400USD to 1800USD Type of contract: Independent contractor / independent professional Summary of Position: We are seeking an individual who has experience working with US companies in the construction field - building multifamily communities or hotel construction, and managing RFIs and Submittals in the construction process. This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow as a key member of a fast-growing company under the umbrella. This position comes with a wide variety of responsibilities and high growth potential. Responsibilities: 1. Work with Project Managers toward the successful completion of the construction project(s). 2. Document, write, and distribute Requests For Information (RFIs) 3. Review, prepare, and distribute submittals 4. Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent by coordinating job needs 5. Attend owner/architect/contractor meetings and assist in recording, preparing, and distributing meeting minutes 6. Assist in reviewing subcontractor change orders and preparing change orders for the owner 7. Assist in monthly project schedule updates 8. Assist in coordinating manpower and subcontractor issues/scheduling 9. Assist in assembling project close-out documentation 10. Assist in assembling documentation for project green requirements 11. Assist with job site safety documentation and scheduling job site safety inspections 12. Job site photo documentation 13. Learn all aspects of project management/construction processes from preconstruction to close-out 14. Assist in preparing monthly payment application documentation 15. Assist in preparing bid comparison analysis and subcontracts Requirements: Minimum 1-year experience in construction for US-based companies Experience working with RFIs and Submittals in the construction process Background in Multifamily communities and Hotel construction Bachelor's degree education Tech savvy enough to work remotely Strong English proficiency Tools: Procore (big plus), MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Project (preferred) Benefits: Two weeks leave (vacation, personal, sick) for the first four years Discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance after the Financial Year End #J-18808-Ljbffr
