Scope of the Role
The LATAM Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution processes. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can accurately assess project costs and contribute to the financial planning and success of our construction projects. The Estimator will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to prepare and analyze cost estimates for a variety of construction projects across Latin America.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare detailed estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Conduct post-project analysis to determine areas for future improvement.
• Participate in bid preparation and contract negotiations.
• Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and optimal project outcomes.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a construction estimator.
• Experience with job costing, requiring proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience producing construction drawings, preferably with familiarity in using Revit, CAD, or other architectural rendering software.
• Excellent communication in English
