What this job involves

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our team:

  • Location :  Colombia / Costa Rica / Chile / Peru / Mexico.

  • Work schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 :00 am to 5 :00 pm .

  • Work model : Remote (attending to the office when necessary) .

  • Contract Type : Indefinite-term.

Americas Marketing and Communications Coordinator helps ensure that information critical to the success of the JLL Latin America and North America account teams is delivered effectively at the right time, to the right people, in the right way. This role aims to improve regional performance in the eyes of the Client by bringing our communication to the next level by:

  • Enhancing the marketing of JLL performance and results achieved 
  • Improving the employee and Client communication 
  • JLL Team visibility through the professional communication • Improving

This role builds and leverages marketing and communications channels from day one to ensure that the intended audiences can make informed decisions that impact performance.

In partnership with the Global Marketing & Communications Lead (and team), assist in executing a strategic internal and executive communications plan: you will align internal and executive messaging with the company’s vision, mission, and product positioning.
Work cross-functionally across teams: you will work in close partnership with regional Leadership Teams to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the account team to produce and promote effective client and internal JLL communications, including presentations, annual reports, case studies, business reviews/reports, research, newsletters, videos, senior leader communications, and webcasts. Edit content for these communications and associated talking points.
  • Support the account team in communicating regional/cluster/site performance in areas such as Employee Experience, Innovation, Sustainability, etc. to the Client.
  • Prepare powerful professional presentation materials for executive reviews with the Client (e.g., QBR, JBP, mid-year, and year-end reviews) in collaboration with regional leadership and site leaders as needed.
  • Provide creative support, communications guidance, and communications tools maintenance for critical projects and deliverables.
  • Ensure all communications align with business objectives and the JLL brand, promoting consistent key themes and messages.
  • Organize, manage, and execute objectives with attention to detail, professionalism, and timeliness.
  • Drive efficiencies, enhance communication processes, and regularly review existing processes and procedures for improvements.
  • Share best practices with peers from leading account teams across JLL.
  • Operate with the highest ethical standards and accurately represent the JLL brand in all deliverables.

Communication:

  • Manage and coordinate communications within the account team and to the client.
  • Collaborate with business teams to align and support core strategies, initiatives, and messaging consistency.
  • Advocate for communicating firm and team news effectively.
  • Support the team in communicating with clients and sites with a strong focus on customer service.

Team Support:

  • Assist in managing and coordinating meetings, events, and projects for the account team as needed.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the global marketing and communications team to ensure alignment.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to support the team and achieve high Customer Satisfaction ratings.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure accuracy through proofreading and editing documents for both self and supported team members.

Required:

  • Excellent, fluent oral & written English (additional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus)
  • Executive communications experience: You can write and tailor content for specific audiences that demonstrates a deep understanding of messaging, positioning and stakeholder needs. 
  • Graphic programs skills: Intermediate PowerPoint skills (some experience with Adobe Create Suite is a plus)
  • Fearless when embracing technology: You’re comfortable learning new programs easily to enhance company-wide communication. 
  • Organized and creative: With news constantly changing, you’re able to adapt and change directions in an instant
  • Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a corporate environment
