Risk managment is the backbone of our strategic decision-making as a company. We are all risk managers, though Addi´s Risk and Compliance area provide us permanent oversight, challenge and advisory to ensure we make the right decisions taking into consideration our risks, that is, properly identifying and mitigating them, acting according to Addi´s values and complying with regulatory expectations. As an Operational Risk Senior Analyst, your mission will be to introduce and develop an operational risk culture in Addi, by working jointly with a variety of cross-functional teams to identify key processes owners, guide them in mapping those processes end-to-end (E2E), identify risks and ensure its mitigation through effective controls. In your role, you will be a central node that connects all of our different functions together, assuring awareness, consistency and cross-team collaboration.
You will be part of our rapidly growing Risk team and a critical part of scaling our business and fulfilling our long-term strategic objectives. Despite the nature of your role, we invite you to think out of the box and provide innovative risk managment alternatives to the table.
Being an effective partner with cross-functional areas to (i) identify key processes owners, (ii) guide them in mapping E2E processes and ensure proper contingency/continuity plans, (iii) help them identify risks and ensure its mitigation through effective controls, and (iv) provide operational risk-related advisory and challenge as needed.
Develop and implement an operational risk framework and its resulting documentation for owned and outsourced activities, including policies, procedures, methodologies/models, limits, controls, registry of events, monitoring process, contingency and continuity plans, early warnings, and a Risk Appetite Framework.
Have been able to apply data analysis and business inteligence solutions for operational risk management purposes
Have been able to identify streamlining opportunities and to propose the improvement of processes/operations based on a operational risk mindset
Own and update a consistent Operational Risk Matrix
Have been able to monitor and present Addi´s Operational risk profile, and have escalated significant operational risk matters that require attention and action.
Design and Implement an Emergency Committee, to be activated during contingency periods
Have succesfully promoted operational risk culture within Addi, through awareness and training.
Non-negotiables
Bachelor´s/University degree in Production/Industrial/Software engineering or related
2-5 years of experience in risks managment, processes, operations and/or data analysis
Proven track record and/or studies in business inteligence, data science or related
Proven excel proficiency
At least upper-intermediate english level

Previous experience in a fintech, a financial sector company or a regulatory authority.
